One of my favorite TV shows is Shark Tank. I’m pretty sure I’ve never missed an episode, and I love listening to peoples’ creative ideas! It inspires me, as I’m sure it does many others, to be creative, bold and to work hard to make our dreams a reality. Treasure Canyon has been a dream of mine for many years, and it’s been a thrill ride in just the first few months.

As we discussed our many ideas for mini-hunt #4, we thought it would be really cool for this one to allow all of you the opportunity to submit an idea for this hunt! For mini-hunt #1, we gave the Provo Canyon general location, took some video standing right next to the treasure, created a riddle, and released the clue. Andrew and his boys nailed that one and went home $100 richer.

For mini-hunt #2, we revealed that it would take place in Rock Canyon, and then released a GPS coordinate at the specified time. From there, participants followed pictures to the general location and then had to find the $200 bucket of coins. Clint and Colton worked together and happened to be in the right spot at the right time. They got ice cream on the way home with their new-found gold.

For the Easter egg hunt, we revealed that the golden egg would be somewhere in Corner Canyon and then released a GPS coordinate and video to help you solve the clues. The egg was under a bridge. Alan and Jesse brought their game and went home with the gold!

For mini-hunt #3, we decided to break the hunt into 6 different caches, and 2 teams managed to snag the $350 scattered throughout Provo Canyon.

Now, it’s your turn. You have from today through next Friday (4/22) to think of how you would put on a mini-hunt and then submit it to our page. You can either message us directly (so nobody steals your cool ideas), post to the page, or comment on this post with your idea. We will pick the top 4 ideas and then put it back to you all for a vote! The person that submits the idea that makes it into the final 4 and then gets picked will win a $100 Altra gift card. They will then have the opportunity to participate in the mini-hunt with everybody else.

Treasure Canyon will administer the hunt, and the location will not be known to the winner of the contest. They can either choose to come with the founders of Treasure Canyon to hide the treasure and put on the mini-hunt or let us take over from there and see if they can beat their own game!

Your "pitch" must be submitted in video format. You can upload it to our wall on Facebook or you can upload it to YouTube and then share the link. Your idea can be simple and elegant or complex and involved. Anything goes!

Now, let’s see what you’ve got!
